Love You Long Time

So Brooke is taking this folklore class and its about like the study of people's culture, music, clothing, art and little traditions they do. Anyway she had to do an interview and she asked about something in my life that I had heard or said that was a tradition or custom. Kind of hard to explain. So I told her about our language that we have. You know how we say things and no one seems to understand or everyone takes literally. Well this is the report that she wrote from it. I was just laughing so hard I don't even get it. I though it would be fun for everyone to have so we can remember it when we are old!
- “that’s normal:” used when something is out of the ordinary, sarcastic, ironic term to describe something out of the ordinary or cultural unacceptable
- “fun:” used as an adjective for the words “weird” or “unenjoyable”
- “oh my….” Said in a high pitched tone to describe a feeling of disbelief. Gradually morphed into just “oooh…”
- “is that normal:” used when wanting to ask, “don’t you think that weird?”
- “what does that mean?:” question to raise awareness of a strange situation
- “Somehow:” used to soften the blow of something that is hard to say. Ex: “Somehow… I forgot to get that money I owe you.”
- “I get so confused:” Used to say that you think someone is veering from a social
norm
- “remember when:” used right in the moment of something happening
- “sucked off the horse:” Driving to California and Britney was driving. There were 2 vans close by that she was getting annoyed by. She said that van just sucked me off the horse. It means someone ruined your plans or something
- “that hurts me”- used when something is stressful
- “I don’t even get it”- something you do get

Don't worry, I'm back
So I don't know what happened!! I went from writing a post a week to not writing for an excruciatingly long amount of time. I think it's because nobody else was writing and so i felt dumb writing one post after the other. Not much has been going on in my life lately... at least that you all don't know about ha ha. I'm going to fail economics this semester... or maybe britt's brother can help me just enough to keep my head above the water.
You all know I live my life in phases. I was trying to think about what phase i'm going through right now and i think it's come to me. I nap. A lot. More than usual. So much Chelsea is convinced I have mono ha ha. Every day between school and work I have to sleep for at least an hour, but preferably 3, or I can't function for the day. Another part of this phase of life is toast with butter and honey on it for breakfast and listening to chill half folk music ha ha.
It would be fun if we all got together and did something sometime. I've been wanting to tie dye shirts for some reason, if anyone would like to you should let me know and we can get our craft on. I love crafts.
I hope that life is well for everyone. I try to keep in touch with all of you but sometimes it gets crazy and so i don't stay on top of it too well. Peace out ladies!

Someone's getting married...but it's definitely not me.
So I totally agree with Alice, and I'm glad that the blog is getting activated once again. But seriously Alana thought i was going to pass out I was laughing so hard when I read your post nicole. "she is large and well endowed". I couldn't handle myself. So funny. Anyways, the updates of life in my neck of the woods...
2- Next, I will tell you about the jealousy i feel toward my little brother. He's graduating in may and for his senior trip he is going to COSTA
RICA. Cameron Bardsley's parents have a house on the beach there. Yeah, I know, a week and a half on the sand/sea is making me remember the days when i didn't go on our senior trip and then i broke my foot attempting to practice tricks on the trampoline because i always was the worst at them. ugh. Ha, but at least he's graduating huh?

ly smart. He is a convert to the church and the only member in his family. His mom is a writer who used to work at the white house during the Clinton administration. Now she does lots of freelancing and is currently writing a book about the Missionary Program of the LDS church, for nonmembers. This pic is of harris/his mom and elder ballard/elder cook last week when she was interviewing them for part of her book. oh and did i mention that he is ridiculously skinny? well at least he is tall;)
All in all, life is pretty good. I'm struggling with keeping up with school but I stay alive/awake with random texts from the Kenz that I truly appreciate. I miss you all and hope you have a wonderful valentines tomorrow! Can we all play on Monday? puhleeaasse!

Where did all the good people go?
UUUHHH excuse me friends the blog is not over. It keeps going for our whole lives. I keep checking it temporarily and no one ever writes on it. I miss Kenzi's weekly posts and everyone elses fun additions. So I'm starting it back up again. I'll be real mad if no one follows. So Ever since I moved to my first house last semester I kind of spyed on some people across the street. Yes, I know its awkward. But these people are so sick. There is like two couples living here and a few children and i try to discover who belongs to who. There is one women who is always wearing these knit shorts and short shirts or tank tops. She even wore them into the fall. She is also very large and very much endowed. So the short shirt does not please the eye. The man that I see most is always scruffy and they both never wear shoes. There hands are always full of beer and cigarettes. I feel terrible for the children and their neighbors. I always am so interested in this family and I don't even get why. also i always wanted to take a picture of the people but only got the house when I drove by. These two aren't the people who live there. Anyway I hope you all are having such good lives right now. Its been hard to keep track of all your love and school lives but i bet they are super. Well love you all!!!!!!!!

Mommy and Daddy Special Time
Hey women! I just wanted to wish every one a freakin' awesome holiday season! I am so super glad that we are all homies and I'm pretty sure that there is not a cooler group of ladies in the whole world! I mean, first of all, we have Aubrey's laugh, and then Britt's burps, Kenzi's hairiness, Lynzee's "sexy fingers" :), Andrea's $3 shoes...and shirts...and pants (ha ha), and Nicole's constant awkwardness. I love it all! There is nowhere I'd rather be then with you guys, so thanks for always being there. I hope that this new year will bring awesome opportunites and experiences for all of us and I pray we will keep playing and laughing together. Yeehaw! So freak, lets make the best of this year-we'll only be 20 once! Lets PARTAY!

I wanna grow old with you!
So today I was just being bored at work as usual when walked in this super cute grandma. She was probably about sixty or seventy. She came up to me and said that there were going to be six people for lunch. She waited for awhile and then the five other ladies came in. They were all so cute and stylish and all had presents for each other. I sat them at a booth and they just ate and talked for like two and a half hours. When they left they were all hugging and one lady was even crying cause she missed everyone so much. But anyways they reminded me so much of us. That is how we are going to be in thirty years, still having our christmas party and drawing names. It was just so adorable I had to share it with you all!!

The Alphabet game
If you are ever during any time of your life bored out of your mind, play the alphabet game. It will surely amuse you enough to pass the time. It was discovered by two highly intelligent people in Washington D.C. so you know it is of the highest quality. All you need to do is locate a bottle that has a very large opening, but that can still fit into your mouth. For lynz that is a very large bottle, for me and Nicole the bottle is small ha ha. Then you just put the bottle in and try to say the alphabet. It is best played with at least one other person. Enjoy.
I love this day called thanksgiving and I hope everyone gorges themselves to the point of pain. My favorite items on the menu are the yams with marshmallows, green bean casserole, and rolls. I am as giddy as a schoolgirl thinking of the feast to come.
While everyone is still in town we need to do something. A bon fire was talked about, but if anyone has any other ideas throw them out there.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

My Best Friend's Wedding
I just was real excited about my title because its a movie. Get it? So I think we all just loved being at britt's wedding on friday!! it was such a fantastic day full of crazy driving, saying things like "Who are they?" way too loud, falling down when trying to catch the boquet, unlatching britt's dress from the back at the temple and laughing at a woman in Old Navy for saying thanks for nothing. Wait those were all my embarassing moments of the day. So I tried to figure out photo bucket and here is the link. Try it and let me know if it worked. http://s469.photobucket.com/albums/rr57/nicole__55/
